The G405 can be used for attaching ropes, hooks etc. Note: when using any anchor to restrain a flexible support (eg cable rope), the pull must come from an angle and not straight up.
Also note that if using ratchet straps, only ever tighten so the strap is snug and no more. Many ratchet blocks can apply a load counted in tons – much more than the pullout value of the anchor. If for example your soil/anchor combination gave a pullout value of 800lbs with the strap snug, it will restrain 800lbs, but if you tighten it by 600lbs to start with, you will only have 200lbs pullout value remaining.
This bracket fits the 1½” and 2″ standard anchors
It does not suit any flanged top anchor.
